Michael Matkin is the Executive Director of CITRIS and the Banatao Institute at UC Santa Cruz. He is the co-founder, along with Becca Fenwick, of the CITRIS Initiative for Drone Education and Research (CIDER) at UC Santa Cruz. He’s had his FAA Part 107 certification since 2020
